about

Times 5 were a late 1970s quintet that blended new wave with the sounds of the British Invasion. They were led by singers/guitarists David Wallace and David Nelson, with singer/bassist Rick Clare and drummer Walt Jachec. The band was completed by keyboardist Timmy Spence, who supplied the Farfisa organ melodies which set the group apart from the pack. Their track "Is Your Radio-active" was featured on the 415 Records compilation, '415 Music' in 1980.

This 9-track set was recorded at the Berkeley Square on August 8, 1980 in Berkeley, California and is the second release as part of the Liberation Hall "Sounds from The San Francisco Underground" series.
